In yet another new motion, attorneys for incarcerated former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters are now asking for her to be released from prison, citing Peters’ mother’s failing health.

Peters is serving an eight year, nine month sentence at the La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo. She has asked a federal court to release her on bond pending her appeal at the state level. Western Colorado
