ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions aren’t closing the door just yet on Amon-Ra St. Brown’s chances of playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
St. Brown suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter that kept him out for the rest of the game on Thanksgiving. All updates since then have leaned on the positive side, with NFL Network saying it’s a low ankle sprain and he’s considered week-to-week.
Dan Campbell said he doesn’t envision St. Brown practicing on Tuesday. But the Lions coach added he knows if St. Brown can play, then he will.
“He’s better. He’s better,” Campbell said. “That’s the best way to say it ... So, I know this, but if he can play, he’ll play. That’s the best way to say it.”
