Florida-based rapper Poorstacy has died after a reported “incident” in Boca Raton, Florida. He was 26.

The musician, real name is Carlito Milfort Jr., died on Saturday, November 29, the Boca Raton Police Department confirmed to multiple outlets on Monday, December 1.

The “incident” occurred at 2899 N. Federal Highway, where the hotel Boca By the Sea is located, Dylan Huberman, a spokesperson for the police department, told the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Boca Raton Fire Rescue arrived at the hotel shortly after 6 a.m. and transported Poorstacy as a trauma alert to Delray Medical Center, Lt. Karl Richards, a spokesperson for the fire department, told the outlet.
