KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Sporting Kansas City has parted ways with interim head coach Kerry Zavagnin on Tuesday, ending a 26-year relationship.
The team announced the “mutual” parting of ways on Tuesday, Dec. 2, just 9 months after Zavagnin took over as interim head coach. He replaced Peter Vermes in March.
“I would like to thank Kerry for his enormous contributions to Sporting Kansas City across more than two decades,” said President of Soccer Operations and General Manager David Lee.
