A northern Michigan man who was one of 11 people injured during a July 26 mass stabbing attack at a Traverse City area Walmart is now suing the man who allegedly stabbed him along with Walmart, accusing the retailer of negligence.
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Grand Traverse City Council, Aaron Boudot, 41, of Traverse City contends Walmart ignored its own safety policies for responding to suspicious behavior.
Boudot was shopping with his wife, Melinda, and their four children when he was attacked. He was stabbed in his back and arm, severing an artery and nerves, when he moved to protect his family from attack.
At a virtual news conference Tuesday, David Stechow, one Boudot's attorneys, said numerous customers at Walmart, including Melinda Boudot, noticed Bradford Gille behaving strange
