The Boston Celtics and New York Knicks will butt heads on Tuesday night for the second time this season. The Celtics fell in their first meeting on the road on October 24 (the second game of the year), but Tuesday’s rematch will take place at TD Garden.
Chief among Boston’s defensive priorities will be containing Knicks guard Jalen Brunson. On that note, Celtics guard Anfernee Simons talked about the keys to dealing with Brunson with CLNS Media .
While Simons admitted that guarded Brunson is “easier said than done,” he said the following about matching up with the All-Star guard:
“Play with our hands out and not give him his angles … a lot of people give him angles and he takes them. He’s really good at it, drawing fouls or … (kicking it) out for (a three).”
