ALLEN PARK -- Amon-Ra St. Brown wants to try and play, but said it’s “up in the air” heading into Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

St. Brown suffered an ankle sprain in the first quarter of last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers. He did not return and went through the weird feeling of watching the game while not on the field. St. Brown said he knew it was something more serious about 10 minutes after the injury occurred.

“I mean, I’ve had ankle sprains before, and I was able to come back during the game, but this one, I just, I couldn’t,” St. Brown said on Tuesday. “The pain was just too much. It was tough watching the game on the sideline. I don’t know how many games I’ve watched on the sideline or not being on the field while being here in Detroit. So it’s toug
