Chris Pratt is setting the record straight on how he met his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger – and it had a lot to do with his faith.

Pratt, 46, shot down the rumor that his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver, was the one who introduced him to Schwarzenegger, 35, during an appearance on FOX News’ FOX & Friends with Steve Doocy on Tuesday, December 2.

“That’s actually not true,” the Guardians of the Galaxy actor said, revealing he met Schwarzenegger more organically.

“Let’s settle it now. I met my wife in church. I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over and I saw her,” he recalled. “And I know you’re not supposed to be, like, checking out girls at church, but I’m only human. And I thought, ‘Wow, she’s really cute.’”
