The Rio Rico wrestling program volunteered with the Santa Cruz County Animal Care and Control Services on Nov. 22 to help run a rabies clinic at the Rio Rico Swim and Racket Club. The athletes greeted attendees, documented patient/animal history and cleaned up after the event. This was the fifth rabies vaccination clinic of the month for the animal care center. Last week, students from Rio Rico High School’s National Honor Society helped the center walk shelter dogs.
