The Toronto Blue Jays fell just short of winning the World Series last season. After their Game 7 loss to the Dodgers, they could look to make some major changes.
The Blue Jays have already started making upgrades to their roster. The team has reportedly agreed to sign Dylan Cease. Cease's signing could mean the team is less inclined to sign Max Scherzer in free agency. NorthJersey.com's Pete Caldera predicted Scherzer would sign with the Miami Marlins.
"Builds back to form in Miami, with the potential to move to a contender at the trade deadline," Caldera predicted.
Scherzer did not have a great regular season, but was great for the Blue Jays in October. Overall, he had a 3.77 ERA across three starts in October. He took the ball in Game 7 and allowed one run in 4 1/3 innings. However
