Nissan has issued a recall for a production issue in the windshield of certain car models.
Around 41,790 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration .
Documents filed with the highway safety agency stated that the main cause of the recall is the presence of air bubbles in the laminate layer of the windshield.
Visible air bubbles, depending on where they’re located, can reduce a driver’s visibility, according to the recall documents.
This recall affects Nissan’s popular Sentra sedans, specifically those sold under model year 2025.
The manufacturer advised owners to bring their vehicle into a dealership. Dealers will inspect the windshield and replace any as necessary, free of charge.
