Nick Saban gave his full endorsement of LSU’s hiring of former Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin a day after the former Alabama offensive coordinator was introduced as the Tigers’ head coach.

In a post to the LSU football X account, the former head coach of the Tigers shared his thoughts on the move.

“Lane Kiffin played a significant role in helping us win a national championship at Alabama, and I’ve always said he’s one of the brightest minds and one of the best play callers I’ve ever been around,” Saban said in the social media post. “He brought creativity, energy, and a real competitive spirit to everything he did."
