The first Tuesday after Black Friday may be known as “Travel Tuesday” to retailers , but the more charitable set have come to know the date as “Giving Tuesday.” The goal: to use the day to highlight worthwhile causes while giving charitably, after having spent money on (likely) less-than-essential items during the Black Friday rush .
