Dec 2 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase on Tuesday hired two new managing directors, R. Sean Daugherty and Robert Rosenfeld, to strengthen its North America mid-cap mergers and acquisitions team, according to a memo seen by Reuters.

THE CONTEXT

* They will join a growing team of more than 250 bankersdedicated to mid-sized companies and investors.

THE PEOPLE

* Daugherty brings more than 23 years of experience advisingon mid-cap M&A transactions. He most recently served as a seniormanaging director in the private equity advisory team atGuggenheim Securities, where he led its consumer group. Prior tothat, he was a managing director at Lazard. * Rosenfeld brings nearly 20 years of M&A advisoryexperience focused on the consumer sector. Most recently, he ledconsumer household products investment banking globally atBaird. Before that, he worked in the M&A group at BMO CapitalMarkets. * When they join early next year, they will report to theco-heads of North America mid-cap M&A, Andrew Castaldo andAndrew Martin. * Daugherty and Rosenfeld are based in Chicago.
