The County of Renfrew has recognized three shining examples of community spirit as the 2025 Warden’s Community Service Awards were handed out during the Nov. 26 session of county council.

This year’s honours spotlighted one individual and two not-for-profit organizations whose work has strengthened communities across Renfrew County in meaningful and lasting ways.

Taking home the individual award was Valerie Hinsperger of North Algona Wilberforce, nominated by Laura Griffith. In the not-for-profit category, awards went to the Arnprior/McNab/Braeside Men’s Shed, nominated by Darrell O’Shaughnessy, and the Arnprior Regional Health Auxiliary, nominated by Maggie Harbart.
