Chesapeake Bay Leaders Approve Next Phase of Cleanup, Shapiro to Chair Executive Council

Chesapeake Bay-region governors approved a new cleanup plan Tuesday that extends the restoration effort to 2040.

The plan comes as the states fall short on some of their 2025 commitments established 15 years ago.
