GROVETON, Texas (KLTV) - A man who served as a Trinity County animal control officer has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child.
Brandon Daniel Furman, 53, was first arrested on July 1 of this year and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to a Trinity County Sheriff’s Office release.
Furman pleaded guilty to the first-degree felony, which occurred during his employment with the county, before being sentenced to 30 years in prison Tuesday, the release said. The plea agreement was made in agreement with the victim’s family.
