BEDFORD — A Bedford woman was detained and is now facing a felony intimidation charge after allegedly making threatening statements toward her neighbors while retrieving a knife on Monday, November 17.
Police detained 38-year-old Jessica Norris on a warrant on November 29.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Deputy D. Miller, officers responded to Norris’s address following a report of threats being made against nearby residents.
Upon arrival, Deputy Miller, Sgt. James, and Deputy Paschall made contact with Norris. Deputy Miller noted that Norris’s behavior was erratic, alternating between “excited and loud, then quiet and calm.” Norris reportedly told the deputies she was having issues with people around her who claim to be her family, which she denied.
