The third public meeting for the city of Greenville’s new wheelsports park will be held Dec. 9.
It will be the final opportunity for residents to review and provide feedback on the park’s conceptual design before the project is presented to Greenville City Council. The drop-in-style meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Prisma Health Welcome Center in Unity Park.
The new park will be built on approximately 10 acres of land at 425 Airport Road, adjacent to the Greenville Downtown Airport. It will consist of a concrete skatepark, an asphalt pump track and a paved bicycle playground. Residents will have the opportunity to provide design input on these three elements at the upcoming public meeting.
An online survey will open at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9 to collect additional public comm
