GATESVILLE, Texas — The Gatesville Police Department is asking the public for help identifying people they say were involved in "aggressive ding dong ditching" around the city.

According to police, on Saturday, Nov. 15, between 12-3 a.m., "a few individuals" went through multiple neighborhoods, participating in a TikTok challenge of aggressive ding dong ditching.

Police said those involved, believed to be between 14 and 19 years old, caused damage to some property while participating in the challenge.

Those involved reportedly went through the Grandview, Cottonwood, Hillcrest and Oak neighborhoods, as well as the neighborhoods around the Gatesville Golf Course. Police say the people in question were driving a golf cart and a white car.
