SCRANTON, Pa. — The snow just kept coming Tuesday morning, causing issues for drivers and residents across scranton.
A road closed sign on Birney Avenue kept morning commuters looking for a new way around.
A neighbor who called 911, but did not want to go on camera, told Newswatch 16 it was just after 8:40 a.m. when a car lost control and hit a telephone pole. The driver was ok, but power was cut to several homes.
Along Harrison Avenue in the city's hill section, cars struggled to climb the hill, some drivers cutting their losses, turning around.
"As it looks right now, if you ain't got to go nowhere, don't come outside," said Lawrence Barfield, Scranton.
