Vancouver officials have thrown a wrench into a C-Tran board composition plan that aimed to undermine the city’s influence and obstruct efforts to extend light rail into Clark County.

On Monday, the Vancouver City Council voted 6-1 in favor of asking the public transit agency’s board to approve a straightforward “4-3-2” plan that gives the city of Vancouver four seats on the board, Clark County three seats and the area’s smaller cities two seats.
