PHOENIX (WNDU) - Dr. Todd Cummings, the former South Bend Community School Corporation superintendent who is currently on paid leave from an Arizona school district , could face termination as soon as tonight.
The interim superintendent of the Paradise Valley Unified School District is planning to produce a statement of charges related to Cummings’ conduct during his short time there. The document will be part of the board’s special meeting tonight.
The statement of charges lists multiple reasons to support his possible firing, including actions before even starting the job.
Board members in the Arizona school district put Cummings on administrative leave in September but did not specify why at the time.
The charges reveal Cummings lied on his application to the Arizona district. Jus
