A Holly Hill middle school teacher was sentenced to 135 years in prison after he was convicted on charges of aggravated possession of child sexual abuse images, possession of child sexual abuse images and sexual conduct with an animal.

David R. McKeown, a 47-year-old sixth-grade teacher, was arrested in June of this year by the Holly Hill Police Department.

According to a news release from the HHPD, McKeown was designated a sexual offender and received an order prohibiting him from harboring, owning, possessing or exercising control over any animal.
