Two people have been arrested after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death on a busy street in northwest London .

Police were called to the scene on High Road in Wembley just before 1pm on Monday.

Upon arrival, they found a 22-year-old man had been injured. He was treated at the scene by paramedics but later died in hospital.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

On Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Harrow, police said.

A woman, aged 21, was arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both remain in custody.
