LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — The first major snow event of the season caused some trouble in communities across Lackawanna County.
In Throop, two tractor-trailers came to a halt in the middle of Dunmore Street.
"This is a state road, so they need to come out. We did put a call into them. I'm sure they're busy, so we just got to wait for them, but I did reach out to my DPW people, and they're gonna come up and try to salt and make some, uh, plows so they get that tractor-trailer. Well, we've got two tractor-trailers stuck," said Chief Andrew Kerecman, Throop Police Department.
