'The Beatles Anthology' provides nearly definitive look at band

It’s a testament to The Beatles their legacy remains some 61 years later.

John , Paul , George and Ringo (does anyone really need their last names?) provided the map for the British invasion of America in arguably rock music’s ascendant era.

For about a decade they dominated the rock-pop music scene with tunes that endure to this day. It made perfect sense for that heritage to receive the extended documentary treatment initially in 1995 in an eight-episode series.

So what’s new for the current release for Disney+ where it is currently streaming? A ninth episode. That will be enough for most fans.
