Now that central Pennsylvania has had its first snowstorm of the season, brace for dropping temperatures.

A cold front is expected to hit the region this week, according to forecasts. And it won’t be the last.

David Martin, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in State College , said that the greater Harrisburg region is about to face “a series of cold fronts coming in.”

“Temperatures tomorrow are not going to get out of the 30s,” Martin said. “Tomorrow night we’re looking at lows in the teens.”

Martin said that we’re in for an “abnormally long stretch of cold weather here, especially Thursday into Friday,” as low winds and little cloud cover will bring dropping temperatures after sunset.
