Sarasota's shopping and dining district St. Armands Circle now has a new establishment serving Caribbean cuisine to its diverse roster of restaurants.

Flambo Island Cuisine, located at 40 S. Boulevard of the Presidents in the former Vernona Gourmet space, recently held its grand opening after an earlier soft opening period. The business is owned by Anthony Logan and his son, Kevin Ramlochan, who previously operated another Flambo restaurant in Philadelphia's Center City.
