The Colts have waived kicker Michael Badgley, the team announced Tuesday afternoon. Badgley missed what proved to be a pivotal extra-point in their 20-16 loss Sunday to the Houston Texans , which Colts special teams coordinator Brian Mason called “inexcusable.”

Badgley missed three PATs in seven games with the Colts. He won a mid-October eight-man tryout days after Indianapolis lost starting kicker Spencer Shrader for the season with a torn ACL and MCL when a Raiders player ran into him.
