SPRINGFIELD – A bill was signed into law in Illinois that empowers the state to offer "transparent, science-based vaccine guidelines through its expert Immunization Advisory Committee, while also expanding vaccine access."

That's according to a news release from the office of Gov. JB Pritzker, in which the governor also called out U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., saying he spreads conspiracy theories.

"While RFK Jr. and his QAnon-inspired colleagues spread conspiracy theories and dangerous misinformation about vaccines, Illinois is stepping up to protect the health of our people,” Pritzker said
