WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A McLennan County judge softened the bond conditions Tuesday for a Waco homebuilder charged with seven counts of sexual assault and assault family violence in cases involving two alleged victims.

Alexander James Beasley, 36, who owns a Waco construction company, has been free on bonds totaling $1.4 million since his arrest in October on charges he sexually assaulted two women he previously dated.

At the time of his indictment in the two cases, Beasley was free on bond after his arrest in July on charges he physically assaulted one of the women and impeded her breathing in the bathroom of a Dallas hotel while a child was in the hotel room.

Since his second arrest, Beasley has worn a GPS ankle monitor and has been under court orders not to leave his residence.
