Scouting

I am a Life Scout, which means that I am only one rank away from Eagle Scout. In Scouting, I have had a lot of fun experiences that I think a lot of people would enjoy. We go on campouts once a month, and on those we learn to camp without a tent, light a fire, whitewater raft, hike and so much more.

I am also blessed by the fact that my dad is in the U.S. Navy. I have been looking at the news lately, and have seen that the U.S. Department of Defense has said that they may no longer allow Scouting America troops to meet on overseas bases. If my dad were to be stationed overseas, then I would not be able to do all of the things that Scouting offers. I would not be able to have leadership opportunities, nor train for any of those. Thi
