Colorado volleyball is back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022.
The Buffaloes also have a first team all-conference selection for the first time since 2022.
The Big 12 Conference on Tuesday announced its year-end honors for women’s volleyball, with CU’s Ana Burilovic earning a first-team selection while middle blocker Cayla Payne received a spot on the second team.
Burilovic is the first player from CU to earn a first-team all-conference honor since Meegan Hart in the Pac-12 in 2022, although Payne and Lily Dwinell — also a key part of this season’s tournament team — were All-Freshman team selections in the Pac-12 in 2023.
The Buffs (22-8) face American University in a first-round match at Indiana on Thursday afternoon (1 p.m. MT, ESPN+).
