DENTON, Texas — UNT made a quick turnaround on the coaching carousel, hiring former West Virginia head coach Neal Brown to lead the Mean Green.

Brown has 10 seasons of experience as a head coach — four with Troy and six with West Virginia — and a total of 23 years of collegiate experience. Across that span, he helped coach the Trojans and Mountaineers to a combined 72-51 record, seven bowl appearances and five bowl wins.
