ATLANTA — The U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act on Monday, sending the bill to the Senate for consideration. Advocates say the legislation could bring new hope to children battling cancer and their families.

Six-year-old Henry Taylor from Covington, Georgia, has been fighting high-risk acute myeloid leukemia, a type of cancer resistant to standard chemotherapy. Despite intense treatments, including salvage chemotherapy, Henry's disease progressed, and his family has been focusing on making every moment together meaningful.
