Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shared more information about a potential timeline for a statewide redistricting effort, and a Miami college board votes to give land for President Donald Trump's presidential library.

Gov. Ron DeSantis said that Florida will indeed redistrict in the mid-decade. Moreover, he also laid out a timeline of when he’d like to see it all done.
The governor will need the House and Senate all to agree, and there is a tight timeline to do it before the midterms.
DeSantis is planning a special session to draw up new maps, possibly as early as March.
“Yeah, yeah, so we’re going to redistrict… we’re going to do it next spring,” DeSantis said in an interview with The Floridian.
