A woman smuggled ketamine and cannabis into prison after drug dealers allegedly threatened to burn her house down. Lisa Sumner was caught on camera handing the parcel of contraband to an inmate during a visit to HMP Altcourse .

It came after her boyfriend went missing and dealers issued a string of threats in relation to a debt they apparently owed. Having been left "at her wits' end", she ultimately caved into their demands and nearly ended up behind bars herself.

Liverpool Crown Court heard yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, that Sumner, of Albany Road in Walton , attended the jail on October 21 last year and visited a prisoner who it was later established she had no previous connection with. CCTV captured the 49-year
