Steven Stamkos has always been an elite producer across his 18 years in the NHL — on Tuesday night, he reached another milestone to prove it.

With a second-period goal against the Calgary Flames, the future Hall-of-Famer eclipsed 1,200 career points in his 1,190th NHL game.

He joins active greats like Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Alex Ovechkin, Anze Kopitar and Patrick Kane to have hit the milestone.

The goal that earned his 1,200th point came early in the second period off the rush. Forward Luke Evangelista took advantage of an out-of-position Devin Cooley, skating around the net before popping it up to Stamkos just outside the blue paint.

It was Stamkos’s seventh goal of the season and 10th point in 25 games.
