The Mets have already been active this offseason, but after trading Brandon Nimmo for Marcus Semien and signing Devin Williams , there’s plenty of work that still needs to be done.

All signs point to the Mets adding an ace-caliber starter to their rotation this offseason. New York’s starting staff faltered this past season and led, in large part, to the club’s disastrous collapse in the second half. They have quantity in that position group currently, but need to address the quality , particularly at the top with phenom Nolan McLean.
