ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A couple is speaking out after a teacher tied their 2-year-old daughter to a chair at a church daycare.

Victoria and Slade Lambert say the incident happened Nov. 14 at New Prospect Baptist Church Preschool. The child’s mother says she didn’t find out until a week later when she received the photo from another teacher who witnessed it.

“My stomach was in knots… I mean, it has been ever since we found out about it,” said Victoria.

The parents say the teacher who took the photo reported it to the interim director that same day, but nothing was done. That teacher quit a week later and sent the photo to the girl’s mother.
