LATTA, S.C. (WBTW) -- Latta councilman Marcus McGirt on Tuesday was elected as the town's next mayor, according to unofficial results by the Dillon County Election and Voter Registration Office. McGirt took 197 votes to challenger Rick Watson's 137. Lake City Mayor Yamekia Robinson congratulated McGirt on his victory in a Facebook post Tuesday night.
