Weezer bassist Scott Shriner's wife, Jillian Lauren Shriner, has filed for divorce.
The filing comes less than a year after she was arrested for attempted murder, following a police shootout.
Jillian cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
She is seeking joint custody of the pair's two sons, who are aged 17 and 13. The couple have been married for 20 years.
Jillian attracted headlines in April when she was arrested for attempted murder following a police altercation.
During the incident, Los Angeles Police Department officers witnessed Jillian in a "neighbouring residence armed with a handgun".
A statement at the time detailed, "The officers ordered (Jillian) to drop the handgun numerous times. However, she refused. (Jillian) then pointed the handgun at the officers, and an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred."
She was released on $1 million (£756,000) bail.
USA Today reported in September that a judge ruled "Jillian would undergo a two-year mental health diversion programme", as shared with the outlet by her lawyer.
One month before Jillian's arrest, she shared via Instagram that she was recovering from cancer treatment.
"Yes, I have a little bit of the C word y'all," she posted. "I know a lot of us do."
The Island in the Sun artist spoke about his estranged wife's arrest after the incident occurred, telling TMZ that the pair were getting through a "tough time".
Scott and Jillian tied the knot in November 2005. Prior to their marriage, Jillian worked for Prince Jefri Bolkiah of the Brunei royal family - a time she detailed in her 2010 memoir, Some Girls: My Life in a Harem.
