CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn — As of Dec. 1, 2025, Covenant Health EMS workers officially have a new place to call home in the northern part of Claiborne County.

"Putting the station up in this location gives us much more breadth to get into Clearfield, get into Harrogate, and then obviously in, in the lower part down near Tazewell, we've got that covered as well. So it gives us full coverage in the area for very quick response times," Jeremy Floyd, Senior Vice President for Covenant Health, said.

Floyd said that since the health team's lease ended with the city of Harrogate back in June, they have been looking for a new station. Floyd says they found that home at Lincoln Memorial University, using a former maintenance building.
