Luigi Mangione, accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan last year, appeared in court today as his attorneys seek to suppress key evidence, claiming it was obtained illegally. Body cam footage shown in court captured Mangione’s arrest and search at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s five days after the murder. Hearings are expected to continue for several days.
