PEN America announced that Jason Blum and Ann Patchett will be honored at its 2026 Literary Gala

Blum will receive the Business Visionary Award, while Patchett will be awarded the PEN/Audible Literary Service Award

The gala will take place on May 14, 2026 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City

Jason Blum and Ann Patchett are receiving a big honor!

On Tuesday, Dec. 2, PEN America announced that the film producer, 56, and novelist, 62, will be honored at its 2026 Literary Gala.

Blum, the founder and CEO of Blumhouse, will receive the Business Visionary Award. Past awardees include Ted Sarandos, CEO of Netflix; Robert A. Iger , CEO of Disney; and Don Katz, former CEO of Audible.

Patchett will receive the PEN/Audible Literary Service Award, joining
