The Tri-State’s first significant snowfall of the season left many drivers brushing off their windshields and wondering what the law actually requires when it comes to clearing snow from their vehicles.

“It’s pretty fun and exciting! Definitely cold though. We just moved up here from Tampa at the beginning of the year, so it’s our first big snow,” Coggins said.

His partner, Emma, was quick to remind him why scraping matters.
