BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The South Dakota State volleyball team heads west tomorrow morning to play Arizona in the NCAA Tournament Friday night.
And the jump they have made from 2 years ago when they won just 9 games is amazing. It’s safe to say they wouldn’t be where they are today if Sioux Falls native Sydni Schetnan hadn’t transferred from Louisville to help Dan Georgalis build something special.
As our Sam Tastad found out, Sydni and her teammates were extra fired up to be headed to Stanford to keep their season and her career on the biggest stage.
“It was super exciting. I didn’t think it would be as electric as it was as last year, but I honestly think our reaction was a lot better at this years,” said SDSU redshirt senior Sydni Schetnen.
