The 11-month tennis calendar has ended, and those complaining about non-stop work have finally heaved a sigh of relief. The complainers of the schedule are mostly the top players, from both the WTA and the ATP.
Though players have the full freedom to skip tournaments, they are afraid of losing ranking points, and also they don’t want to miss out on the prize money that’s on offer.
