An updated special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:23 a.m. until 8 a.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog and freezing fog is reducing visibilities down to 1 mile or less in parts of the Foothills of the Blue Mountains in Washington and Oregon. Webcams show reduced visibilities on I-84 in Mission and Cabbage Hill, SR-204, and SR-11 near Dry Creek, Weston, and Athena. Fog will continue to settle through the early and mid morning hours today. Remember to practice safer driving, including to leave extra space in the car in front of you and using your low beams," says the weather service.
